Inside Netrix IT

Netrix IT's core competence is Managed Services and providing the resources necessary to exceed clients IT expectations. Netrix IT spent two years designing, testing and implementing a Managed Service offering we could take to market and our clients. We completely reinvented ourselves from a successful “prepaid block-of-labor” IT organization to a provider of proactive cost-controllable Managed Services.

Netrix IT Milestones

November 2008: The Hewlett Packard Global Business Services has announced that Netrix IT has been qualified as a Public Sector Elite partner for HP's 2009 fiscal year. The Public Sector Elite designation is reserved for HP's most outstanding partners supporting the Public Sector market.

August 2008: Netrix IT is now a member of the ProCurve Select Partner Program.

Fall 2007: Designed, implemented and supported VMware environment. Consolidated over 35 physical servers with numerous Operating Systems to three (3) HP Servers and HP SAN solution.

Summer 2007: Netrix IT upgraded six separate Public school infrastructures including switches and servers to HP product.

Summer 2007: Netrix IT implemented six Exchange 2007 upgrades. Two of the Exchange 2007 environments are clustered, using HP Blades and SAN hardware.

August 2007: Netrix IT introduced HP Blades and SANs into North Metro 916 and their current environment.

July 2007: Netrix IT migrated a Novell environment to a Microsoft network and converted the email from GroupWise to Exchange 2007.

July 2007: Netrix IT reached the milestone of over 1000 desktops and 100 servers on their Managed Services program, NetAssure.

July 2007: Netrix IT has taken the steps to become an active Microsoft Gold Certified partner, building onto the first MS certification as a Microsoft Academic Reseller.

June 2007: Netrix IT designed and implemented complete campus-wide Security using ProCurve Enhanced Security products for Shattuck St. Mary's private school.

June 2007: Awarded a second 12-month, staff augmentation contract with a Metro School District. This contract includes the full time staffing of three technical people on-site and consulting responsibilities.

March 2007: Netrix IT is one of two organizations in the metro area that has completed the HP ProCurve Specialist partner certification. This allows Netrix IT direct communication with the HP ProCurve team here in Minnesota, which is a great complement to our in-house talent of ASE's, one of which is certified at the Master level.

January 2007: Microsoft Academic Reseller Certification.

July 2006: Awarded a 12-month, staff augmentation contract with a Metro School District. This contract included the full time staffing of three technical people on-site and consulting responsibilities.

June 2006: Netrix IT completes qualifications for Microsoft Small Business Specialist.

October 2006: Netrix IT completes steps to become a Microsoft Certified Partner.

October 2006: Netrix IT receives HP Gold Certification and has a specialty partnering with Educational institutes.

August 2006: Netrix IT implemented one of the first Campus Wide Wireless upgrades for Dunwoody College of Technology using the new ProCurve 530 Access Points.

July 2007: Netrix IT designed, implemented and supports one of the first “Radio Port” wireless solutions for HP in three secondary schools in the Hopkins district.

July 2007: Netrix IT designed and implemented a comprehensive Security system using HP Network Access Control products, the 745 Secure Access Server.

June 2006: Netrix IT facilitated a 2200 laptop life-cycle replacement for Dunwoody College of Technology.

May 2006: Netrix IT officially releases “NetAssure”, a fully integrated, Managed Services offering.

April 2006: Official launch of our Customer Portal featuring a robust CRM for customers. This Customer Portal is a result of over 24 months of research, testing, collaboration, and trails. The result is a fully integrated solution that allows Netrix IT to deliver a web-based tool that provides our customers real-time access to all their technology information.

January 2006: Netrix IT is a certified HP Warranty provider for all of your desktop and laptop repairs.

2005: Netrix IT is a Certified SonicWall partner.

2005: Netrix IT is a Certified Trend Micro partner.

2005: Netrix IT is a Microsoft Partner.

2005: Netrix IT is a Symantec Partner.
